Clemson Gameday Photos - Clemson vs. Virginia Tech

Military Appreciation Day always makes a Clemson home game so special. I still get chills during the military fly over. And watching Clemson walk on and military vet Daniel Rodriguez lead the team down the hill was such a great moment. And we lost count of how many times the student section chanted "U-S-A!".

You will see lots of Clemson pride and pride in our country in our gameday photos this week. The football game started out a little sloppy, but the Tigers came back in full force with interceptions, great plays and...of course...touchdowns! Final score -- Clemson 38, Virginia Tech 17.

Clemson Gameday Photos - Clemson vs. Georgia Tech

Whew...what a game! It was a nail biter until the very end, but Clemson pulled out the win beating GT 47 to 31. And to add icing to the cake, Florida State had a huge upset on Saturday, getting beat by NC State...opening a door for Clemson to repeat the ACC title.

Clemson Gameday Photos: Clemson vs. Ball State

Good afternoon ladies. Is anyone else suffering from sunburn after Saturday's home game? It was quite the hot and humid day, and we barely missed a large thunderstorm. That didn't stop our beloved Tigers from picking up another win - 52 to 27 against Ball State. We also had some amazing plays - like the ACC record making 61 yard field goal. 09.03.11 - Clemson vs. Troy State gameday photos

Wow, Saturday's game was definitely a scorcher. Despite the heat the Tigers still pulled out a big win against Troy State. Final score, Clemson 43, Troy State 19.

A heartbreaking loss...but a great fight by Clemson.

How about those Tigers? The Clemson Tigers? As you may have read, we made the trek down to Auburn for the game. It was fun passing a lot of Clemson fans on the interstate - and even some Auburn fans as well.

One of the things I LOVE about Clemson fans is that we travel - there were a ton of Clemson fans at the game. You could see pockets of orange among Auburn's 'Blue Out' fans.




The game was full of highs and lows. We were in the upper, upper deck - but it was a ton of fun to be surrounded by so many Clemson fans. We didn't know each other, but we were high five-ing, hugging one another, and consoling each other all throughout the game. That's another thing I love about Clemson fans - we may be strangers, but Clemson makes us family.... and hugging total strangers sitting next to you after a Clemson touchdown is considered normal. :)



Auburn fans were pretty friendly - although the whole copying our "All In" tag line was frustrating, and the "SEC" chant while walking back to our car wasn't appreciated either. :(



It was a rough game too with players injured on both sides - including Kyle Parker who played through intense pain. Rumor has it that he'll be ok and ready to go by the Miami game. The kickoff time for the Miami game should be announced sometime tomorrow.

All I can say is what a game and even though we didn't win, we sure put up a heck of a fight and gave me faith that we should have a great remainder of the season and win games that matter.

Two more weeks until Homecoming - you have a weekend coming up to relax your nerves and potentially watch Auburn beat the Gamecocks. :)

Homecoming: We need your help...looking for a few Clemson Girl photogs..

Happy Tuesday ladies.. I hope everyone is well rested and avoiding the sniffles after another fun (and rainy) gameday in Clemson. I also hope you enjoyed all of the photos we were able to take at the game (don't forget to comment on photos!).

Well, unfortunately I will not be attending the Homecoming game in two weeks. {boo, hiss} But I don't want my absence to affect what I've been doing on the blog... so I am looking to you, my readers, for help.

We are looking for three Clemson Girls to take photos for us in Clemson on gameday, October 31, 2009 - Clemson vs. Coastal Carolina. In return for your help, we will give each girl a Clemson necklace from Chloe Marie Designs, each handmade and valued at $25!

All you would need to do is take at least 50 digital photos on gameday - 15 photos have to be gameday outfits (or costumes!), 15 photos have to be taken in the stadium during the game, and the rest can be random (tailgates, scenery around Clemson, fans, etc.). Visit our past gameday photos to see the types of photos we're looking for.

It's that simple. If you're interested in volunteering to be a Clemson Girl photog for a day, email us at clemsongirlblog@gmail.com - include your full name, the make and model of your digital camera, where you usually tailgate on gamedays, and why you'd like to be selected. Deadline for emails is midnight this Friday, October 23rd.

We will contact the three girls we select, no later than midnight on Sunday, October 25th, with all of the details, etc.

If you're a photography business or freelance photographer, we will advertise for you on the blog with a full post write up instead of the Clemson necklace if you would prefer. Just mention it in your email. This is a great opportunity to get the word out about your business - we'll include some of your photos in the post along with links and contact info.

So..we want you and your photo taking talents...we may even request your help again for future games if your photos are as great as I suspect they will be. I look forward to working with some of our awesome blog readers... :)

09.26.09 - Clemson vs. TCU - Gameday photos and outfits

Well, the Tigers couldn't pull off the W this weekend - but they still held ranked #15 TCU team to only 14 points compared to our 10. The gameday started out great - overcast, a little chilly, and no rain. The entire first half was rainless. And then the monsoon came...right at the end of half time. And it wasn't just rain...it was POURING rain. So I wasn't able to capture too many photos of gameday outfits - so enjoy the photos I was able to get. Hopefully the Wake Forest game will be dry!
