Ladies Clinic is this Weekend

So who is going to Dabo Swinney's Ladies Clinic this weekend? I am, I am!

This Saturday, July 24th, is Dabo's 2nd annual Ladies Clinic. Check-in starts at 7:00am in Littlejohn Coliseum, and the clinic officially begins at 9:00am.

The day will include:
  • Sessions in the West End Zone facility including the Tiger weight room, locker room, team meeting room and Death Valley.
  • A Q&A session with the Clemson coach's wives.
  • Meet and Greet Photo w/ Coach Swinney.
  • Shopping with Clemson Tiger vendors (including many of our lovely sponsors, yay!).
  • Lunch provided by Chick-fil-A. (Yumm!!)
  • Silent and Live Auction items.
  • Meet and Greet w/ Clemson Legends
The clinic will end at 4:00pm.

I'm not positive, but you may still be able to register if you haven't already - you can register at www.daboswinneyfootballcamp.com or call (864) 656-1910 for more information. The registration fee is only $60, and $15 of it goes towards breast cancer research and prevention matched by Dabo's All-In Team Foundation. Last year they raised over $32,000!

Check out our photos from last year's clinic.

What to wear? I haven't decided yet - but dress for warm temperatures. The high on Saturday is going to be about 94 degrees! View the complete weekend's weather for Clemson.

I'm definitely excited about trying out this clinic for the first time. Have you been before? Any tips for us first timers? What to wear? What to bring? etc. Comment on this blog with your past ladies clinic experiences and any advice for the newbies.

See everyone this weekend! Go Tigers!! Go Dabo!

Don't mean to ramble, but want to pass on my two cents! I had lots of questions my first Clinic.

When they say wear comfortable shoes, for the love of all things orange, LISTEN! I am usually the first to ignore this advice. But, you will do quite a bit of walking and standing (and stating the obvious here), it WILL be hot. I wore cute shorts and a Clemson shirt...not glamorous, but I chose function over form and was glad I did. It wasn't hard to spot the ladies who didn't choose the comfy route! There were a couple times I ended up sitting on the floor (it was just easier)... and was glad I opted for shorts over my original denim skirt. I think if you have a cool, flowy jersey/cotton dress that would be fine though.

I wore my hair in a ponytail and a visor. I mainly wore the visor because I wanted it signed and didn't want to have to carry it. Not sure if I'll do the same this year, but it was nice to have my hair out of my face since it was so hot. Also, I'm a purse girl (always have to have it with me), but I consolidated to a smaller "tougher" bag than my everyday Louis. I'm bringing the small Vineyard Vines tote this year. And you will CARRY it everywere so keep that in mind. I do believe I was able to make a trip to the car to stow my purchases from the vendors.

I have to say, this whole thing is VERY well planned and organized, especially considering the sheer number of people that are steadily being shuffled to and fro. The only "negative" I found was at the end of Clinic...there was mass confusion trying to sort through and find your pictures (if you had one taken with the Coach). Hope you enjoy and LOVE your blog.
