Gaines Adams, former Clemson defensive end turned NFL pro, passed away today at the age of 26. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends as the Clemson family mourns today.
"I just couldn't believe it was Gaines," [Tommy] Bowden said. "I will always remember the smile he had on his face and I will always remember his patience."

Oh my gosh, I was so sad to hear the news. Gaines was such a great player and Clemson Tiger. Praying for the Adams and Clemson family at this time.
