Misc. Monday - Reader Submissions

Can you believe it's already August? I am already ready for the Fall -- I'm tired of this sweltering heat, and I'm ready for cool temperatures and Clemson football.

Today we wanted to share some photos sent to us by two of our lovely readers -- one of the things we love most about this blog is hearing from YOU, the readers, and seeing the fun Clemson photos you have to share.

Jena Baird will be senior at Clemson this year, and she has been going to Clemson football games since she was 4 weeks old...so, needless to say, she LOVES Clemson.

She is super crafty and creative, as you can see from her blog, and recently started painting wooden signs -- which of course turned into Clemson signs! Love this!

Another reader who often shares photos with us on Twitter is Rebekah, who goes by @clemsonrebekah on Twitter. She recently shared a few photos with us, including this cute photo of her cat who was lovin' on her new Clemson Girl t-shirt.

And Friday she tweeted us this photo of the perfect Clemson running outfit she plans on sporting while training for a mini-marathon. First of all...we love those shorts! Rebekah where are they from?? Second, major kudos and props to Rebekah for doing a mini-marathon! Wish I had that motivation. :)

Who is going to Dabo Swinney's Ladies Clinic this Saturday? Me, me, me!

We will be missing out on the weight room entertainment this year to instead work alongside our friends at Tickled Orange to help sell our Clemson Girl "You might be a Clemson Girl if..." t-shirts that YOU helped us design. :) We are so excited to be a part of such a good cause this year -- using the shirts to help raise money for Dabo's All In Team Foundation.

If you haven't gotten your must-have Clemson Girl shirt yet (the best Clemson t-shirt this year...right?), you can still purchase them online through Tiger Town Graphics website. Clemson Girl T-Shirt Raising Money for Dabo's All In Foundation

Last month we announced an exciting t-shirt contest in partnership with one of our fabulous sponsors, Tickled Orange - we asked all of you to complete the following sentence: "You might be a Clemson Girl if..."

We wanted to find the top 10 best responses to put on a t-shirt that would be sold to raise money for Dabo's All In Team Foundation, which supports a number of fantastic causes.

Your response was overwhelming and the submissions were beyond expectations - some entries were so true of being a Clemson Girl...others were down right hilarious. The greatest challenge was trying to pick just 10.... but we did and the shirt is the perfect shirt for any Clemson Girl!

"You might be a Clemson Girl if..." Contest

We are thrilled and very, very excited to announce a brand new Clemson Girl contest in partnership with one of our fave sponsors, Tickled Orange.

All we need you to do is finish the sentence "You might be a Clemson Girl if..." We will pick the best 10 responses, and together with Tiger Town Graphics, put them on a very cute Clemson Girl "You might be a Clemson Girl if..." t-shirt that will be sold, starting in May, online and in the Tickled Orange store in Clemson.

The best part about this contest is that all of the proceeds from the t-shirt sales will be donated to Dabo's All In Team Foundation at Dabo's Ladies Clinic, July 23rd, which raises money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The funds are used to promote early cancer screening, detection and continued research.

The individuals who submit the winning top 10 responses will get the Clemson Girl t-shirt for free in the size of their choice, a few other surprise goodies and recognition on ClemsonGirl.com... not to mention being part of an effort to raise money for a very worth cause! Winners will be notified the end of April and the t-shirt design with the top 10 responses will be revealed and available to buy the beginning of May!

Deadline for "You might be a Clemson Girl if..." entries is Midnight EST, Friday, April 15th. Get creative, make it humorous, keep it clean.. but remember to keep it short and to the point - after all, it has to fit on a t-shirt! :)
