Visit blake & brady this weekend to get your next Clemson gameday outfit – get 10% off!

I first introduced you to blake & brady boutique back in August and I’ve gotten a ton of e-mails and comments from readers about how much they love the gameday outfits blake & brady sells. Well, I’m really excited to have the opportunity to share with you pictures of new orange and purple outfits the boutique has just gotten in! The boutique is located conveniently in downtown Anderson (click here for a map), but if you can’t make it to the store – anything you see in this post they can ship to you – all you have to do is call (864-965-9120) or send them an email to info@blakeandbrady.com.

New Gameday Dresses – I really love these new dresses from blake & brady. I used to be against having any other color in your gameday outfit that wasn’t purple, orange or white. I’ve changed my tune lately though..I’m starting to become a believer that if the outfit has enough orange or purple in it, and you dress it up with the right orange or purple jewelry, then it becomes a really cute (and unique) gameday outfit. The second dress, however, couldn’t be more perfect for a Clemson game – especially for this weekend’s game. And I love the details on the orange dresses. Any of the dresses could be paired with a jean jacket or sweater and knee high boots – so you can still wear them for the October games.

New Gameday Tops and Sweaters – blake & brady has also gotten in a bunch of new tops and sweaters that would be perfect for gamedays – especially paired with jeans and cute jewelry! I love the purple sweater with the ruffle on the front! That would be so cute for one of the October home games paired with a jean skirt and tan, crochet knee high boots or the Ugg style boots! I love fall football weather – but you have to dress in layers because it will be warm sitting in the stadium during the day, but cool in the morning or at night at your tailgate – so these sleeveless tops are perfect to go with your favorite pair of jeans and a cardigan or jacket.

New Gameday Wraps & Shrugs – So, I just mentioned that it’s important to dress in layers for the October games – well…these new shrugs and wraps would be just the item to help you do that. Easy to wear, and when it gets warm in the afternoons, fold these up and easily fit them in your purse. I also love the detail you can add to any outfit with this purple vest – check out the detailed back! So unique!

Orange Boots! - What do you think about these orange boots! I'm in love! These would be so cute on top of a pair of skinny blue jeans for the colder gamedays! And the heels are wedged..so you're not walking around in heels all day, but you still get the illusion and the height. I haven't seen these anywhere else....

And if you are sometimes fashion challenged (like me!), blake & brady have expert staff who will assist you while you’re shopping and help you put together a complete outfit that flatters your body so you can be comfortable and confident walking around Clemson on gamedays. Blake & brady also offers additional services like personal shopping, gift wrapping, and special orders.

I love these new outfits from blake & brady. Become a fan of their Facebook page, and you can continually stay up to date on any new items that come in or any specials or sales they may have. Don’t forget you can order anything from their store by simply giving them a call (864-965-9120).

Speaking of specials…. SPECIAL OFFER FOR CLEMSON GIRL READERS: Blake & brady is still offering 10% off of your first order if you mention you found them through Clemson Girl! Don’t miss out on this great opportunity while it lasts! Thanks blake & brady!

Inexpensive, comfortable dresses for the first home game

Clemson's first football game this year is a home game vs. Middle Tennessee. The game starts at 6pm (hooray, not a noon game), but it will still most likely be in the 90's during the game - and unless you have high powered fans surrounding your tailgate, you're going to sweat. So the most ideal game day outfit for the first game is a comfortable, cotton dress.

Here are some cute, simple dresses (and some shoes!) from a couple of my favorite online clothing sites - and they are all very, very affordable!

I love this dress from Forever21.com. I'm convinced that someone who purchases for Forever21 is a Clemson fan - they ALWAYS have dresses that come in orange and purple. I like this dress because it looks comfortable and it looks fitted, but not too fitted - so if you eat too much at your tailgate, you can mask your belly. And pairing it with orange jewelry and orange shoes like the ones above from GoJane.com would be so cute.

Another dress from Forever21.com, and this one is available in both purple or orange. This dress also looks super comfortable, and hey... no tan lines. :) What I really love, is that it's totally re-wearable if you really wanted to. You can wear it as a dress for the hotter games, then slip on some leggings and wear it when it starts to cool down in the middle of the season. Then, for the October and November games, wear it with skinny jeans and knee high brown boots and a jean jacket or long brown sweater with a brown belt.

Another Forever21.com orange dress with a really cute stone halter. I could totally see this dress paired with a really cute pair of brown gladiator sandals. I think either the lighter tan sandal or the darker brown, braided sandal from GoJane.com would work.

One thing I love about game days is that it's the only day you can get away with wearing orange with purple. I love mixing the two colors on game days with my outfits. This orange tiered dress from GoJane.com looks really comfortable, and the tiers keep it from being just any ordinary tank dress. However, I think it needs a purple tank top of some kind underneath it to add some color, like the one pictured above from Target. Then finish it all off with a really cute pair of comfortable purple shoes, like these which are also from GoJane.com.

There's no excuse not to be cute AND comfortable for the really hot game days in September. And I love how all of these options are so affordable - more money left over for tailgate beverages. :)
