Solid Purple Smoothie

Happy #solidorange Friday!

However, today I'm kicking off the weekend with solid purple with my Solid Purple Smoothie. This is my favorite, easy-to-make, go-to healthy smoothie. It's also an easy way to sneak in a lot of healthy greens into your diet without having to taste them. :)

All you need to make this delicious smoothie is a blender and a few ingredients.


Clemson Girl Solid Purple Smoothie

Ingredients:
  • 1 banana
  • 1 to 1.5 cups of frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 scoop of organic vanilla protein powder
  • 1 large handful (or more!) of spinach
  • 1 cup original, unsweetened almond milk

Directions:
Place the ingredients in your blender in the order listed above. Blend until smooth! Pour into a glass, pop a straw in it, and enjoy!


***You can substitute the blueberries with another frozen fruit of your liking. However, we like blueberries because they have an abundance of antioxidants that do amazing things like stop signs of aging, kick cancer's butt, boost the brain, support digestion and a healthy heart, and burn fat. What's not to love about this small berry!?!? :)
