Two months ago when we put out the call for Clemson Girl weddings, one of the first Clemson Girls to respond was reader Susan Clapp.
Susan and her husband are both Clemson alums, so even though they were married in Charlottesville, VA, it was important for them to make Clemson a part of their special day.

| The couple got married on Oct 24, 2009 -- the day Clemson beat Miami in OT when Miami was ranked no 8. This is a picture of guests watching the game on a big projector they put up at the reception. I love this idea - if you know there's a big game going on the same time as your reception -- embrace it! This way people aren't sneaking out to their cars to listen to the game. Make it part of the celebration! |

The best part of these Wedding Wednesday posts is the surprise of seeing your friends featured! This is the second post this year where I know at least 1/2 of the happy couple. Congrats to Chris & Susan! I know from "Boo" that the wedding was a blast. :)
