There truly is Something in these Hills...and it is that something that made my Grandparents fall in love with Clemson and in turn provide me with the privilege of being raised to love all things Tiger Orange. There isn’t a moment that I don’t remember Clemson being a part of my life. As a matter of fact, Clemson was more than a college, more than a team or even a place to my family...it was a MEMBER of the family, as much a member as one of my many cousins, aunts, or uncles.

My fondest memories of my childhood is when my beloved Papa Aiken would pile all of us in the cars, and our caravan would head south to Florida to watch the tigers play in whatever bowl game the team was playing in that year. We would be decked out in orange, $2 bills in our pockets, and ready for some football.



Fast forward many years and many football games later, I was fortunate enough to attend and graduate from Clemson. I have two beautiful children, Madeleine (7) and William (3), who are only allowed to attend undergraduate at Clemson University...but I have no doubt they will want to go to Clemson since they were raised, as I was, to love all things Clemson.

I hope as a new blogger to the Clemson Girl team I can share my journey of raising two little tigers and in return hear your stories as well. I will be sharing my Clemson finds, recipes, and activities that will no doubt raise children that will grow up to love the tigers as much as their parents.
